Federal Councilor Ignazio Cassis, head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and Markus Leitner, ambassador of Switzerland in Iran, made a visit to Isfahan on September 7, 2020. They had an official meeting with the Governor-General of Isfahan Province and some other high-ranked officials of the province with presence of Prof. Dr. M. Javad. Omidi, Acting President in international affairs and development of Technology structures at  Isfahan University of Technology. The main discussions of this official meeting were about mutual scientific cooperation the two countries have had and expansion of the same in future.
