Appreciation for International Affairs Office at Isfahan University of Technology by the Ministry of Sciences, Research, and Technology as the Top University in International Communications
The Center for International Scientific Cooperation at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology recognized Isfahan University of Technology as the top university in the field of international communications in the year 1401.
The appreciation ceremony for successful universities in carrying out joint projects utilizing the capabilities of Iranian experts residing outside the country was held on Saturday, 11th of Azar, 1402, at MSRT. In this ceremony, Vahid Haddadi Asl, the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology for International Affairs and the Head of the Center for International Scientific Cooperation, considered the performance of Isfahan University of Technology in the implementation of joint scientific, research, and technological projects with Iranian specialists residing abroad to be commendable.
He stated that the international scientific growth and excellence of the country and building a shining and hopeful future require dynamism, enthusiasm, and creativity arising from the social responsibility of elite scientific universities. He said: “This path provides an opportunity and platform for the blossoming and support of creativity by utilizing the capacity and capabilities of Iranian elites residing abroad”.
The Deputy of the Center for Scientific and International Cooperation of the MSRT, in his further remarks, mentioned the important areas in which cooperation with Iranians abroad can be fruitful. He emphasized: “The MSRT provides special support for projects in the fields of nanotechnology, microelectronics, biotechnology, quantum, data engineering, cognitive sciences, water resources management, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, exchange of science and technology, and organizing specialized conferences and meetings among Iranians inside and outside the country.”
It should be noted that at the end, Isfahan University of Technology and several other universities, including Tehran University, Shahid Beheshti University, Shiraz University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Alzahra University, Iran University of Science and Technology, Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Imam Khomeini International University, and National Institutes of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, and Color, were honored with a certificate of appreciation.
