Isfahan University of Technology had a significant presence at the 24th China Annual Conference for International Education, which took place from October 26th to 29th in Beijing. This exhibition saw the participation of over 50 universities from around the world. Iran, along with leading universities, actively participated in this exhibition for the first time.

Considering the strategic importance of China in international scientific collaborations between universities and higher education institutions, as well as the Ministry of Science's efforts to attract more international students, the Student Affairs Organization decided that Isfahan University of Technology, Tarbiat Modares University, Sharif University of Technology, and Tehran University of Medical Sciences would participate in the specialized China Higher Education Exhibition (CEE 2023).

Dr. Peiman Mosaddegh, the Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Center at Isfahan University of Technology, represented the university in this exhibition, and along with the delegation from the Student Affairs Organization, hosted various visitors at the Iran booth.

 

During this trip, visits and meetings were conducted, resulting in six memorandums of understanding with Chinese universities and research institutions, including the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of China, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), Institute of Process Engineering (IPE) affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing Agriculture University (NAU), Shandong University, and Donghua University. Successful negotiations and discussions were also held with science and technology parks such as Tuspark (one of the largest science and technology parks in China) and Skoda, aiming to attract investment in the field of science and technology. Additionally, Chinese parties agreed to provide scholarships to Iranian students.
