A memorandum of scientific, research and educational cooperation was signed between Isfahan University of Technology and the owner and designer of Tarh-e Pol. This memorandum has been concluded for revealing Tarh-e Pol at the 22nd National Congress of Government, University and Industry Cooperation in 2018 for national development and within the context of creating and expanding cooperation between the country's industries and universities in the fields of scientific, research, educational and research activities. This is carried out by university professors to be used by postgraduate and doctoral students to conduct applied research activities with specialized and talented forces in the community and industry.
This memorandum is applicable for a period of three years in the form of educational and research cooperation.
Tarh-e Pol was developed and proposed by Dr. Mohammad Reza Zahir Emami, a private-sector economic activist. "Pol’s" Vision is the proper use of university capacities and the optimal use of capital and non-capital assets to generate wealth and employment for sustainable development and "Pol’s" mission, dynamic relationship between industry and university through the development of applied research in the definition of master's and doctoral dissertations for more productivity enhancement. The main goals of the plan include reviving stagnant industries and launching suspended capital and infrastructures, developing technology and equipping industries with up-to-date knowledge, increasing the productivity of active but non-productive industries, directing industries towards sustainable development and a green economy.
