In August 2021, Dr. Ramesh Krishnamurthy, Scientist,Wildlife  Institute of India and Adjunct Professor of University of British  Columbia, Canada, joined IUT as an adjunct professor under the three years contract, starting July 2021. He has been appointed to the Department of Natural  Resources to collaborate with Prof. Dr. Sima Fakheran as her host professor. 

He will cooperate with the Department of Natural Resources in carrying out joint research projects, co-supervising graduate students for their theses and dissertations, presenting research and educational seminars and workshops, and offering IUT specialty and required courses.
