The purpose of UNESCO International Prize - Mendeleev of Russia in Basic Sciences is to identify and tribute the great achievements of scientists in terms of development, dissemination, as well as international cooperation in basic sciences that have significant impacts at regional or international scale.
This prize is $250,000 and includes chemistry, physics, math and biology and is awarded annually to two persons.
Applicants must have made scientific achievements in the field of basic science research, education and generalization of basic sciences, or regional or international collaborations in basic sciences that have led to socio-economic developments with an impact on a regional or international scale.
Applicants can register online until March 5, 2021.
