The ranking of IUT in the QS Asian ranking for 2024 has been announced:
Isfahan University of Technology, the Fourth Iranian Technological University in QS Ranking

QS World Ranking (QS) released the list of 856 Asian universities for 2024. IUT has been placed at 191 in the prestigious global ranking system in Asia and is the fourth Technological university in Iran, according to the QS World University Rankings for 2024.

Dr. Asghar Gholami, Director of IUT Research Affairs, stated that IUT has significantly improved its ranking among the four Technological universities in the country and is ranked seventh among the top universities in Iran.

In the subject-specific rankings for 2024, the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of IUT has improved from 450-401 in 2023 to 350-300 in 2024. The Faculty of Chemistry has also moved up from 601-630 in 2023 to 550-501 in 2024. In the field of agriculture, IUT has been ranked 350-301, and in the field of mechanical engineering, it has been ranked 400-351.

It is worth mentioning that the QS ranking is conducted by the "Quacquarelli Symonds" institution in the United Kingdom and has been independently evaluating universities worldwide since 2010.

The methodology for the 2024 QS ranking includes three indicators: sustainable development, graduate employment, and international research network, which are used for the first time.The scientific publications of universities in this ranking are calculated based on data from the Scopus database over a 5-year period and citations over a 6-year period.
