The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) presents its compliments to the esteemed Focal Points in Member States and Centres of Excellence, and has the honour to inform that the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI), Sri Lanka, which is a Centre of Excellence of COMSATS, is organizing the 6th Biennial Research Symposium/ International Research Symposium -2023, scheduled for 8-10 November 2023, in Colombo, Sri Lanka (in hybrid mode). The theme of the Symposium is "Advance Research, Development and Innovations towards the Fourth Generation Industrial Development".

The primary objective of the International Research Symposium 2023 is to foster and promote the growth of Science, Technology and Research with a specific focus on industry-applicable inventions and innovations contributing to the economic development of the country. This event serves as a scientific platform, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise among esteemed members of the scientific community.

ITI has invited postgraduates, early career researchers, eminent researchers, and academicians from the Member States of COMSATS to submit abstracts for consideration. The accepted abstracts will be published in the proceedings of the Symposium. The selected participants can attend the event online (registration fee: US$ 75/-).
