36th Khwarizmi International Award (KIA) calls for entries!
Launched by the leading Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST), the KIA annually acknowledges the efforts made by distinguished scientists from across the globe and appreciate their high quality contributions to different fields of science and technology.
The Khwarizmi International Award is a research award given annually by the President of Iran. The awardees, 10 senior researchers and 10 young researchers are selected by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). It honors "individuals who have made outstanding achievements in research, innovation, and invention, in fields related to science and technology." The award is given to the most prominent scientists and engineers, with a recent emphasis on digital and mechanical technologies. It is generally considered the most prestigious scientific award in Iran.
The competition is open to all scientists from all over the world!
Fields of Participation: Aerospace, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Animal Sciences & Veterinary Medicine, Basic Sciences, Biotechnology, Basic Medical Sciences, Chemical Technologies, Civil Engineering, Electronic & Computer, Green Technologies, Industry & Technology Management, Information Technology, Materials, Metallurgy & New Energies, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Medical Sciences and Nanotechnology.
