Mr. Mohammad Ahmadi, M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - Manufacturing & Production from IUT, presented a dissertation entitled "Designing and Manufacturing an Ultrasonic Machining with Analyzing the Parameters Affecting the Machine" with the supervisions of "Prof. Dr. Alireza Fadaei Tehrani" and "Prof. Dr. Aminollah Mohammadi" was selected for this section of the International Conference on Manufacturing & Production Engineering in Iran.
Ultrasonic Machining (USM), which is designed and manufactured exclusively at IUT, is used for machining (drilling, ...) parts with a hardness of more than HRC 40.
The 17th National Conference and the 6th International Conference on Manufacturing and Production Engineering of Iran were held virtually in early March 2020, hosted by Iran University of Science and Technology.
In the previous period of this international scientific event (the academic year 2019-20), the same honor was conferred upon Mr. Masoud Azad, another graduate of IUT, for presenting a dissertation on "Manufacturing and characterizing copper nanoparticles using the method of electric discharge machining through ultrasonic vibrations."
