IMPULSE Iran - Austria is based on a mutual interest to considerably improve knowledge exchange on an international level and to strengthen the international profile of the institutions involved. The aim of the program is to stimulate joint activities and contribute to direct collaboration among universities, higher education and research institutions of both countries. Thus, the MSRT and the OeAD-GmbH will support the initiating phase of sustainable partnerships financially with means from their respective funds.
The Centre for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research & Technology will be in charge of the administration of all relevant program procedures on the Iranian side, and Mobility at the OeAD-GmbH will be in charge of administering all relevant programme procedures on the Austrian side.
In the framework of joint cooperation between Iran and Austria, headed by the University of Kharazmi as the National Institution of Cooperation between the two countries, the research project of Dr. Reza Mokhtari, entiteled "Mathematics in Motion" has been chosen as one of the 17th selected projects among 78 proposals. Dr. Mokhtari is the coordinator and planning director of the IUT Vice-president for Research and Technology and the faculty member of the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, and will carry out this research jointly by Prof. Haase from Gratz Univ. of Austria. Dr. Goodarzvand Chegini from Tafresh University will collaborate in this project. Holding Summer or Winter School is one of the joint programs which has been defined in this joint program.
