A delegation from Universities of France visited Isfahan University of Technology on December 14, 2016. During their visit, the members of this delegation had a meeting with IUT officials and academic staffs including Prof. Khademi Vice President for Financial affairs, Prof. Mahboobi Soofiani Director of International and Scientific Cooperation Office, Dr. Karimi Director of Research Affairs, Dr. Ghaisari director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and deans and faculty members of the Departments of Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering.

During this meeting, Prof. Khademi had a short speech and welcomes the delegation. He made a wish that this meeting could led the parties to extend their mutual collaboration in the fields of research and education. After Prof. Kahdemi’s speech, Prof. Mahboobi had a short presentation about IUT’s facilities and capabilities. Dr. Mahboobi also mentioned that IUT currently had a strong tie with several top universities and institutes of France and annually, a significant number of IUT graduate students and faculty members travel these universities and institutes in order to carry out their research activities in collaboration with French scientists and researchers.

Following that, the members of the delegation had a short introduction about their universities and had a discussion with IUT officials and faculty members about the fields of mutual collaboration.

At the end of this meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between IUT and École nationale d'ingénieurs de Brest (ENIB) by Prof. Khademi and Prof. Bone the director of ENIB.

Visiting the departments of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering was another programs of this delegation during their visit from IUT.
